Cover Crazy #4: The Crimson Crown

Cover Crazy was hosted by Tawni at The Book Worms and currently being hosted by Lindsay at   Turning The Pages

This week I am crazy about....

What I Love:

I think there is not one thing I do not love about it.

The Seven Realms series is one of my favourite series ever.

The red, gold, purple, the background, the swirly designs all scream NOTICE ME.

This is one of my favourite covers ever and I so can't wait for its release.

"A thousand years ago, two young lovers were betrayed— Alger Waterlow to his death, and Hanalea, Queen of the Fells, to a life without love.

Now, once again, the queendom of the Fells seems likely to shatter apart. For young queen Raisa ana’Marianna, maintaining peace even within her own castle walls is nearly impossible. Tension between wizards and Clan has reached a fevered pitch. With surrounding kingdoms seeking to prey on the Fells’ inner turmoil, Raisa’s best hope is to unite her people against a common enemy. But that enemy might be the person with whom she’s falling in love.

Navigating the cutthroat world of blueblood politics has never been more dangerous, and former streetlord Han Alister seems to inspire hostility among Clan and wizards alike. His only ally is the queen, and despite the perils involved, Han finds it impossible to ignore his feelings for Raisa. Before long, Han finds himself in possession of a secret believed to be lost to history, a discovery powerful enough to unite the people of the Fells. But will the secret die with him before he can use it?

A simple, devastating truth concealed by a thousand-year-old lie at last comes to light in this stunning conclusion to the Seven Realms series."

Cover Crazy #3: Vessel

Cover Crazy is hosted by Tawni at The Book Worms

This week I am crazy about....

What I Love:
The fiery and warm colors.

The dress. Could it be more gorgeous??

I love the backdrop. It looks like she is dancing under the moonlight in the desert.

I really like how evening twilight/dusk and  the night itself are blended together.

And I really adore the font and transparency of it.

This cover just screams to be pick up. And I will. Definitely will.

So, what are you crazy about this week? Do share your thoughts =D

"In a desert land where serpents made of unbreakable glass fly through the sky and wolves made of only sand hunt within storms, Liyana is destined to be a vessel, to sacrifice herself so that her clan's goddess can inhabit her body... but her goddess never comes."

Cover Crazy #2: Glitches

Cover Crazy is hosted by Tawni at The Book Worms

This week I am crazy about....

What I Love:
Can I just say I love EVERYTHING about this cover?

Don't you think the artwork is simply amazing??

Just in case you're wondering what cover this is, this is a prequel to Cinders by Marissa Meyer which I recommend should be read before Cinders and it is free!!

Read Glitches now!!

So, what are you crazy about this week? What are your thoughts? Do share them =D

"Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s illness. In “Glitches,” a short prequel story to Cinder, we see the results of that illness play out, and the emotional toll that takes on Cinder. Something that may, or may not, be a glitch...."

Cover Crazy #1: Want

Cover Crazy is hosted by Tawni at The Book Worms

This week I am crazy about....

What I Love:
The retro look and the swirly/calligraphic font.

The best part is the piano. I am a musician myself so the cover model lying atop the piano appealed to me.

I also love how the black and white piano keys stands out against the vintage like colors. The overall look of the cover is very ethereal.

What are you crazy about this week? What are your thoughts? Do share them =D

"Julianne counts the days until she can pack her bags and leave her old-money, tradition-bound Southern town where appearance is everything and secrecy is a way of life. A piano virtuoso, she dreams of attending a prestigious music school in Boston. Failure is not an option, so she enlists the help of New England Conservatory graduate Isaac Laroche to help her.

She can’t understand why he suddenly gave up Boston’s music scene to return to the South. He doesn’t know her life depends on escaping it. Julianne must face down madness from without, just as it threatens from within. Isaac must resist an inappropriate attraction, but an indiscretion at a Mardi Gras ball—the pinnacle event for Mobile’s elite—forces their present wants and needs to collide with sins of the past."
